Klein and Wells Added to January MNT Training Camp Roster

CHICAGO (Dec. 26, 2005) – Injuries have forced U.S. MNT Manager Bruce Arena to make a pair of changes to his January training camp roster.

Kansas City Wizards midfielder Chris Klein gets the call in place of Chicago Fire midfielder Justin Mapp, while goalkeeper Jonny Walker of the Columbus Crew was replaced by MetroStars ‘keeper Zach Wells.

The January training camp, set to open January 4th at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., marks the beginning of Arena’s preparations for the 2006 FIFA World Cup to be held in Germany this summer.

The U.S. MNT will play Canada on Jan. 22 in San Diego before returning to The HDC to host Norway on Jan. 29. In February, the squad heads to San Francisco to square off vs. Japan on Feb. 10.
