U.S. Drops Second Group B Match to Scotland 2-1 at CPISRA Football Championship


ARNHEM, Netherlands (Oct. 25, 2009) – The U.S. Paralympic Soccer Team dropped its second Group B match, falling 2-1 to Scotland at the CPISRA 7-a-Side Football Championship in Arnhem, Netherlands.

After Adam Ballou opened the scoring in the third minute off an assist from Marthell Vazquez, Scotland answered back with two goals.

The U.S. will face Canada at 12:45 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and Japan at 12:45 p.m. local time on Wednesday, Oct. 28, to determine places nine through 11 at the tournament.
