U.S. Beach Soccer Head Coach Eddie Soto Calls in 12 Players to Camp in California
CHICAGO (Dec. 10, 2012) – U.S. Beach Soccer head coach Eddie Soto called in 12 players to a domestic training camp in Huntington Beach, Calif., from Dec. 12-16.
It is the fourth and final event of the year for the Beach Soccer team, which is preparing for the Beach Soccer World Wide FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup qualifying tournament to be held in the spring of 2013. The camp in Huntington Beach will be held in lieu of the 2012 Beach Soccer U.S. Indoor Championships, which was scheduled to take place in mid-November.
The roster includes veterans Francis Farberoff, Brandon Taguinod and Yuri Morales, who were all part of the last U.S. Beach Soccer World Cup team in 2007.
