U.S. U-17 Women Finish Trip to Argentina with 3-0 Victory over Uruguay

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Dec. 13, 2009) – The U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team finished a four-game sweep of matches in Argentina by defeating a combined U-17/U-20 Women’s National Team of Uruguay by a 3-0 score. All three U.S. goals came in the second half with Caprice Dydasco scoring in the 56th minute, Morgan Brian tallying her fifth goal in four games three minutes later after a swerving dribbling run and Kaili Torres sealing the match with a final score two minutes from time. A Uruguayan player was sent off during the match for pulling Dydasco’s hair. The USA also defeated Chile’s U-17s 7-0, Argentina’s U-17 Women’s National Team 2-0, with both goals coming from midfielder Brian, and Argentina’s U-20s by a 4-1 margin.
