U.S. Under-23 Women Head to Camp in Corvallis, Oregon
CHICAGO (April 5, 2010) -- U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team head coach Bill Irwin will bring 24 of the top college players in the country to a training camp at Oregon State University in Corvallis from April 18-25. Irwin has called in Boston College goalkeeper Jillian Mastroianni, Pac-10 defenders Lauren Barnes (UCLA) and Megan Jesolva (California), Portland midfielders Elli Reed and Keelin Winters, who were both members of the 2008 Under-20 Women’s World Cup champions, as well as strikers Danielle Foxhoven (24 goals for Portland in 2009), Kristen Press (21 goals for Stanford in 2009) and Sarah Hagen (24 goals for Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2009). During the camp, the U.S. U-23s will face Oregon State and the University of Portland.
