Fans Can Purchase Complete Travel Package to FIFA World Cup Qualifying Match

CHICAGO (Feb. 6, 2013) – Tickets for the U.S. Men’s National Team’s first home match of the Final Round of 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying on March 22 against Costa Rica go on sale to the public starting on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 10 a.m. MT. The game will take place at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., at 8 p.m. MT and will be broadcast live on ESPN, WatchESPN and on the Univision family of networks. Match-Day Tailgate
U.S. Soccer will host a match-day tailgate featuring three of Denver’s finest chefs to create an experience that is uniquely Colorado. The pregame lineup includes: Chef Brian Laird, Chef Elijah Odell and Chef Justin Brunson. Tickets for the tailgate are limited and will cost $50 per person.

Coaching Symposiums
In the lead-up to the match, youth soccer coaches are invited to attend the U.S. Soccer Youth Soccer Coach Symposium, presented by KwikGoal, a two-hour seminar led by top instructors from U.S. Soccer and the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). Attendees will come away with knowledge on a variety of topics, such as running age-appropriate practices, motivating young players, and measuring player progress. The seminar also includes the latest youth coaching materials from U.S. Soccer and PCA. Coaches of all levels are invited to this seminar and the cost is $40.

This match will also serve as the start of the U.S. Soccer Centennial Coaching Symposium, presented by KwikGoal. This symposium will offer an insider’s look into World Cup Qualifying, focusing on style, strategy and multi-match trends. Attendees will participate in two days of educational presentations and discussions, featuring U.S. Soccer staff and guest presenters. The symposium package also includes a match ticket, exclusive training session access, pre-game reception, a game-day parking pass and a U.S. Soccer gift. The match against Costa Rica, just outside the “Mile High” city, comes as part of a double-fixture date and is the first home qualifier of U.S. Soccer’s Centennial year. Throughout 2013, U.S. Soccer will be celebrating its 100th anniversary.
