CHICAGO (Nov. 10, 2009) – U.S. supporters’ tickets for the U.S. Men’s National Team’s international friendly on Nov. 14 at 4 p.m. local time against Slovakia at Tehelne Pole in Bratislava, Slovakia, are now on sale through the Slovakian FA at for €25 (approximately $38). Fans are advised to check the current exchange rate for exact pricing.

Fans looking to attend must first register on the Ticketportal website by creating a name and a password here. English instructions on the registration process can be found here.

Once registered, fans should click here to view the stadium seating chart. The Slovakian FA has asked U.S. fans to buy seats in section BTP, specifically in row 17.

When shown the stadium seating chart, please click on section BTP and you will then be asked to select your individual seat. If there are no available seats in row 17, please choose row 16, then 15, etc. Though other tickets are available for purchase at varied prices, stadium security will ask all U.S. fans at the match to sit in these rows for security purposes.

There is a four ticket limit per person and purchasers will receive the tickets upon verification at Ticketportal selling points, with several locations in Bratislava. Tickets can also be purchased in person at those same Ticketportal locations.

Umbrellas, fireworks, plastic bottles and cans are prohibited, and fans are asked to follow the instructions of stadium stewards, security, officials and police.

The match will be the 11th on foreign soil for the U.S. in 2009 and the first in Europe since facing Spain on June 4, 2008, in Santander. Additionally, with Denmark on the schedule four days later, the U.S. is one of only five teams – including Denmark, Korea Republic, Netherlands and Paraguay – that will use the last two international fixture dates of 2009 to face two 2010 World Cup finalists.

It is the first meeting between the two nations, though the U.S. faced the former Czechoslovakia in their first group game of the 1990 FIFA World Cup, falling 5-1 in Florence, Italy on June 10.
