LaBauex Replaces Davis in U-20 Camp
CHICAGO (March 21, 2007) - There was one change to the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team roster for their upcoming camp in Frisco, Texas, as University of Virgina defender Ross LaBauex will replace injured Southampton defender Kyle Davies.
The U-18s will kick off their weeklong camp on March 22, and will play a couple of games including a possible match in Pizza Hut Park before the full Men’s National Team take on Guatemala on Wednesday, March 28.
This is the U.S. Under-20s first camp since winning Group A of the CONCACAF Final Round Qualifying Tournament in Panama this past January.
U-20 head coach Thomas Rongen has invited 16 players in for the camp. Nine players play in Major League Soccer, one plays professionally in Europe and five play collegiately. The U.S. will play a couple of matches that are still to be determined.
