CHICAGO (Sunday, February 21, 1999) - The U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team will take on Seleccion Haiti on March 5 at 8 p.m. at Ted Hendricks Stadium in Miami, Fla. The match is one of several preparation games in March for the Under-20s as they ready themselves for the 1999 World Youth Championship in Nigeria from April 3-24.
Seleccion Haiti is one of the most successful teams in South Florida club soccer, having won the 1997 and 1998 Miami-area Copa Latina championships. Seleccion Haiti has a passionate fan following in the Miami area, where they regularly pack the 6,000-seat Ted Hendricks Stadium during Copa Latina.
