McBride Out of Scotland Friendly

GLASGOW (Nov. 10, 2005) - U.S. forward Brian McBride has been ruled out of the United States international match against Scotland in Glasgow on Saturday. McBride experienced tightness in his groin after starting in Fulham's 2-1 win against Manchester City last Saturday. The USA's second all-time leading scorer will remain with the team in Glasgow to receive treatment.

Elsewhere, U.S. captain Claudio Reyna has joined up with the U.S. team to continue to receive treatment on his ankle injury. The longtime U.S. captain looked quite at home at his former training ground, having spent three years at Glasgow Rangers from 1999 to 2001.

The USA-Scotland match is available live on Fox Soccer Channel at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday morning.
