What’s it going to be? Door number one, door number two, or door number THREE?!? Okay, so this section has less to do with “Let’s Make A Deal” and more to do with the Multiple Choice section of an SAT test. “In Threes” peeks inside the head of a select National Team player as they pick one of three choices for 25 questions about personal tastes and pop culture.

This month, we give the rapid fire treatment to U.S. Women’s National Team goalkeeper Siri Mullinix, who recently entered the 2003 WUSA season with two major goals in mind: 1) helping the Freedom get back to the Founders Cup final and more importantly and 2) proving by her play with the Freedom that she belongs between the nets for the USA when the Women’s World Cup rolls around this fall. After a disappointing silver medal finish as the starter at the 2000 Olympics and a sub-par inaugural WUSA season, the Greensboro, N.C., native bounced back big in 2002 and helped the Freedom go from next-to-worst to next-to-first. With a solid Siri in the nets, the Freedom are back on the path to the WUSA final in 2003, having already posted a 3-0 record out of the gate.

Best big city in the U.S.: Chicago, L.A. or NYC?
"Los Angeles. It's big, it's fun and there's so much to do."

Best city in North Carolina: Greensboro, Chapel Hill or Raleigh?
"Chapel Hill. It's small, cute and a great place to relax. And there are a ton of good restaurants."

Best date activity: movie, theatre, or comedy club?
"If it's a bad date, they are all good choices because you can avoid talking to the guy. If it's a good date, then dinner is always nice."

Favorite on-the-road-with-the-team leisure activity: grab a movie, hit the mall or lay out?
"Hit the mall, but that can get dangerous sometimes depending on if I'm in a real shopping mood."

Best leisure footwear: flip-flops/sandals, runners/trainers or casual sneakers?
"I'm not sure there is much of a difference between runners or sneakers, but I'll go with flip-flops because your toes can breath. I have flip-flops on right now."

TV:

Best Thursday night NBC sitcom in re-runs: "Cheers," "Seinfeld" or "Friends"?
"‘Friends.’ Phoebe. Need I say more?"

Best late night talk show: "Tonight Show," "Late Show" or "Daily Show"?
"Dave all the way. I love the Top-10 Lists."

Favorite MTV reality show: "Real World," "Road Rules" or "Sorority Life"?
"I don't really watch any of them. Include ‘The Bachelorette' and that would be my favorite."

Favorite reality dating show: "Blind Date," "ElimiDate" or MTV's "DisMissed"?
"ElimiDate. There's more competition there. There's a lot of tension and back-stabbing between the contestants."

Funniest current Thursday night NBC sitcom: "Friends," "Will & Grace" or "Scrubs"?
"‘Will & Grace.’ That's a national team favorite."

Movies:

Favorite type of movie: action, comedy or drama?
"Comedy. I love to laugh."

Hottest actor in a superhero role: George Clooney's “Batman,” Ben Affleck's “Daredevil” or Tobey Maguire's “Spider Man”?

Best female superhero: Wonder Woman, Catwoman or Storm?
"Wonder Woman. I used to watch it as a kid."

Funniest female actress: Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon or Sandra Bullock?
"That's a tough one between Reese and Sandra, but I have to go with Reese. ‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ put her over the top."

Best veteran actor: DeNiro, Pacino or Redford?
"Another tough one. Since I always get DeNiro and Pacino mixed up, let's go with Robert Redford."

Music:

Best female singer: Mariah, Whitney or Celine?
"Celine. I just like her music."

Most Talented American Teen Pop Queen: Britney Spears, Mandy Moore or Jessica Simpson?
"Mandy Moore, because she can sing and act."

Best style of rock: Classic rock, Punk rock or Rap rock?
"I'll have to go with classic rock. I don't like getting a migraine after I listen to music."

Sports:

Favorite non-soccer sport: Baseball, Basketball or Football?
"Football. The Denver Broncos are my team. Love the Orange Crush!"

Favorite team to hate: Notre Dame football, Duke basketball, or Yankees baseball?
"You would think I would hate Duke being a UNC girl, but I have to go with the Yankees. Their fans are obnoxious."

Most ridiculous team name: L.A. Lakers, Memphis Grizzlies or Utah Jazz?
"The Utah Jazz. They should have changed it when they moved from New Orleans."

Food:

Favorite type of non-American food: Mexican, Italian or Chinese/Asian?
"Mexican. I love the chips and salsa."

Best late-night food/snack: burrito, slice or gyro?
"Pizza. You can get a good slice in D.C."

Better dessert: Cake, ice cream or pie?
"Ice cream, especially Rocky Road with whipped cream and strawberries."

Best burger-and-fry fast food: McDonald’s, Burger King or Wendy’s?
"Wendy's, because you can get a good chicken sandwich there."

Best American-invented condiment: ketchup, ranch dressing or spray imitation butter?
"Ketchup. You can just put it on a lot of things. You can dip a whole bunch of stuff in ketchup."

Best breath mint: Altoids, Flavor Strips or Smints?
"Altoids. They have all different flavors now, even Tangerine."
