U.S. U-17 MNT '95s Set for Mondial Minimes Tournament in France

CHICAGO (April 16, 2011) – The U.S. U-17 MNT ‘95s will travel to Montaigu, France, for the 2011 Mondial Minimes Montaigu Tournament. The group is made up of players who fall into the younger birth year of the current cycle of the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team and includes nine players who are currently part of the U.S. Soccer Residency Program in Bradenton, Fla.

Jordan Allen and Paul Arriola were part of the U.S. team that won the CONCACAF U-17 Championship in February in Jamaica, and will lead the group that also includes Philadelphia Union Home Grown signee Zach Pfeffer.

The tournament will provide international experience for the young players, and the U.S. will play international games against Portugal on April 20, host France on April 21 and Japan on April 23. There will also be a fourth game, a placement match on April 24 or April 25.
