U-20 MNT Inspired by Legacy of World Cup Success

On the brink of the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, U.S. U-20 MNT head coach Tab Ramos and his staff turned to the rich history of the U-20 program to help inspire the current team in its bid to qualify for this summer’s FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. Placards bearing the names of U.S. players such as Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan, who went on to play in a FIFA World Cup after competing for the U-20 MNT earlier in their careers, were shown to the current U-20 squad, and the meaning of the moment was not lost on young U.S. players Emerson Hyndman and Paul Arriola.
