U-15 BNT Defeats Uruguay 2-0 to Win 2016 International Festival of Futbol

ROSARIO, Argentina (April 8, 2016) – The U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team defeated Uruguay 2-0 for the 2016 International Festival of Futbol title.

The USA took the lead in the 29th minute off a strike by Efrain Alvarez. Minutes into the second half, USA’s Giovanni Reyna widened the U.S. lead to 2-0, scoring in the 38th minute.

This was the first U-15 BNT event of 2016 and also the first event for new head coach, Dave van den Bergh.
