Jorge Villafaña played for the U.S. U-20 squad from 2007-09, capping off that level with a trip to the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He made 16 appearances with the U-20s, scoring a goal in 2007 against the Argentina U-20 team. Villafaña has played professionally for Major League Soccer’s Chivas USA since 2007.

  • Won Sueño MLS on March 25, 2007, earning a spot on Chivas USA’s U-19 squad and ultimately making his MLS senior team debut for Chivas on Sept. 9
  • Scored three goals in three games to open his first full MLS season with Chivas USA in 2008
