Lexi Heer, Power Soccer

Heer was named to Team USA’s U-18 Power Soccer squad for a competition in Paris this year. Heer was the most valuable player of the 2013 Presidents Cup National Tournament, where she was named the Golden Guard after scoring 22 goals at the event. Heer also had 15 assists at the tournament. Heer plays for the RHI Indy Cruisers in Indianapolis.

Meghan Maiwald, Deaf Soccer

Maiwald served as co-captain of the 2013 U.S. Women’s Deaf National Team and earned a gold medal at the 2013 Deaflympic Games in Sofia, Bulgaria. In nine matches, she posted seven shutouts while allowing only two goals in total. Maiwald has been a member of the team for seven years. Maiwald also is entering her fourth season with the Women’s Premier Soccer League’s California Storm, which was a 2013 national championship semifinalist.

Rene Renteria, Paralympic Soccer

Renteria is the leading goal scorer of the 2013 U.S. Paralympic Team with nine goals in 10 games. Renteria also was the team’s top goal scorer at the Intercontinental Cup with six goals for an eighth-place finish and qualification for the 2015 World Championships.
