The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team defeated rival Mexico in front of a raucous pro-Mexico crowd in the Laredo, Texas. Defender Sheanon Williams scored the game-winning goal in the 25th minute and forward Peri Marosevic added a brace in the first half.
U-20 MNT
The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team arrived in Laredo, Texas Wednesday morning for the team’s July 11 match against Mexico at 8 p.m. CT. The 16 player squad will train on Wednesday and Thursday evenings leading up to Friday night’s kickoff at Texas A&M International University Soccer Complex. Tickets for the game are still on sale, and fans can follow along live on ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker.
U-20 MNT
U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team forward Jorge Flores has sustained an ankle injury at training with Chivas USA, and will be unavailable for the USA game against Mexico on Friday, July 11 in Laredo, Texas.
