Individual Match-Day Tickets at CONCACAF Women’s Championship Now Available

CHICAGO (Sept. 24, 2014) – Individual tickets for each match-day doubleheader at the 2014 CONCACAF Women’s Championship, the tournament serving to qualify teams for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, go on sale starting at 10 a.m. local venue time on Thursday, Sept. 25.

Tickets are available at ussoccer.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 (for games in Kansas City, Chicago and Washington, D.C.) and 1-800-298-4200 (for events in Philadelphia), and at all Ticketmaster ticket centers in the local Kansas City, Chicago and Washington, D.C., areas for the doubleheaders in those regions.

Series ticket sales for each city will end on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 11:59 p.m. local time for fans looking to buy tickets to all events in a specific venue.

The 2014 CONCACAF Women’s Championship opens with first-round doubleheaders at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas, from Oct. 15-16 (TICKETS) before continuing to Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois, from Oct. 17-18 (TICKETS) and concluding group play at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C., from Oct. 20-21 (TICKETS). PPL Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, is the host site of the semifinals (Oct. 24), third-place (Oct. 26) and final (Oct. 26) matches (TICKETS).

The U.S. Women’s National Team opens Group A play against Trinidad & Tobago at 7:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas. Group A also includes Guatemala and Haiti. Group B features Costa Rica, Mexico, Jamaica and Martinique.

Each team will face the others in its group once (round-robin format) while playing one game in each of the three first-round venues. The top two finishers in each group travel to Philadelphia for the semifinal round.

The USA will play the second match of all three Group A doubleheaders. In Group B, Mexico will play the late game on each of its first-round match dates.

The top three finishers in the tournament – the two finalists and the winner of the third-place match – will qualify directly for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup June 6-July 5 in Canada, while the fourth-place team enters a playoff with a team from South America for a World Cup berth. Martinique cannot qualify for the semifinal stage as it is not recognized as a FIFA country. Therefore, if Martinique finishes in one of the top two spots in Group B, the third-place team would advance to the semifinals.

All 2014 CONCACAF Women’s Championship matches will be televised live across FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2 or FOX Soccer Plus and will also be available on multi-platform devices via FOX Sports GO, FOX Soccer 2GO and FOXSportsGo.com.
