Grassroots Coaching License Courses: Zac Crawford, Grassroots Coach Educator, informed everyone that the in-person Grassroots Licenses (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11) were available in the Digital Coaching Center (DCC), as well as the revamped D License Course as of February 1, 2018. Support for the Instructional and Administrative Staff for those hosting licenses will continue via webinars and documents, as needed, as new courses are rolled out.

Dan Russell, Manager of Coaching Education, provided clarification on the Online Licenses, in that they will be rolled out in a staggered fashion (rather than simultaneously). He also informed the Members that a webinar for those with DCC Admin privileges would be held on February 20 on how to create a new course in the DCC. He also confirmed that the National Development Center in Kansas City was fully open and operational.

2018 Member Meetings: 2018 Member Meetings would be held in April at the National Development Center in Kansas City, KS, and that additional detail would be forthcoming. Dates are April 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19 and 21, 2018.

SheBelieves Summit: The first annual SheBelieves Summit was taking place on March 3 in New York City, and the event would be streamed live for those who are interested in the Summit, but unable to attend.

MNT Games: Three future games for the Men’s National Team were announced: March 27 vs. Paraguay in Cary, NC, and then will travel to Dublin to face Ireland on June 2 and then on to Lyon to play France.

2019 AGM: The 2019 AGM will be February 14-19, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch. Caitlin also reiterated that the videos and presentation decks will be shared at a later date.

Reminders: Next U.S. Soccer Board of Directors meeting will be held on May 18, 2018, and that new Board Minutes were approved and posted online.

Questions from Members:

Standards and Certification: 63 Members have submitted their information, but the site remains open. We will review and discuss at April Member Meetings. For Competitions and Club Standards, those are Phase 2 and 3, and are likely a 2019 endeavor due to the amount of technical expertise and collaboration required.
