U.S. Soccer In Focus #12 | National Team PRIDE

As part of U.S. Soccer’s #OneNation campaign, the Federation is proud to support all fans, players, and employees to share their voices during LGBTQ+ Pride Month.

Since 2017, both the USMNT and USWNT have shown their support for the LGBTQ+ community by sporting rainbow numbers and captain’s armbands for matches played during the month of June.

This IN FOCUS gallery details some of the best photos from both teams’ Pride themed-kits from years past.

In June 2016, USMNT captain Michael Bradley donned a rainbow armband (below) in the team’s Copa America Centenario quarterfinal against Ecuador, the team’s first match following the tragic shooting at Pulse Night Club in Orlando.
