U.S. Soccer In Focus #14 | USWNT Returns To Camp

After a seven-month pause in programming due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Women’s National Team has reconvened in Commerce City, Colorado, for an 11-day training camp. Operating inside a controlled environment with strict health and safety protocols to mitigate risk, head coach Vlatko Andonovski called in 26 players for the teams’ first activity since winning the 2020 SheBelieves Camp in March. While the training camp roster is a blend of World Cup winners and newer faces from the NWSL and collegiate ranks, the goal remains the same: building for the upcoming Olympics in and the team’s future success.
