Seacoast United Phantoms (N.H.; PDL) 2, Global Premier Soccer (Mass.; USASA) 1 Making its first appearance in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup since 2006, things didn't look great for New Hampshire-based Seacoast United Wednesday night as GPS-Massachusetts ran out to a 17th minute lead when Roy Sanderman headed home a corner kick. Things seemed to get tougher for the Phantoms when Terrence Carter received a second yellow card and ejection in the 68th minute, but two minutes later Anthony Grant converted from the penalty spot to equalize. With extra time looming, Sofiane Tergou found the back of the net for 10-man Seacoast in the 88th minute, giving the side an improbable 2-1 victory. The club next visits USL's Tulsa Roughnecks in the Second Round on May 20.
