Harrisburg City Islanders advanced to the Third Round of the Open Cup for the third consecutive year after a 2-0 win against West Chester United SC. Bobby Warshaw scored the opener for the visitors, turning in a cross from Craig Foster after 14 minutes. Shortly after halftime, the Islanders doubled their lead when Matt Boluc finished at the far post in the 49th minute. In a game of few chances, the City Islanders coasted to victory after building their two-goal lead and will face Chattanooga SC in their next match of the Open Cup.
