Chicago FC United continued its maiden U.S. Open Cup run by taking down the professional Pittsburgh Riverhounds 3-1 on Wednesday night. Chicago got out to a 1-0 lead when Mike Catalano set up Mark Segbres in the 18th minute. Kay Banjo pulled the USL side level on the hour mark, but Tom Barlow gave FC United a 2-1 lead in the 73rd minute. Ryan Sierakowski added an insurance marker just before full time, giving the PDL team a Third Round home date with fellow amateur side Christos FC.
