For much of the night, Midland-Odessa Sockers FC pushed their professional counterparts to the brink, but as the match wore on, San Antonio FC found its stride. The visitors scored three goals after the 87th minute to run away with a 4-0 victory. Darnell King recorded the opener for San Antonio FC on a header in the 34th minute, but his squad would have to wait almost an hour for insurance. The floodgates finally opened when Mikey Lopez buried a free kick to double the lead. The USL side advances to meet Colorado Springs Switchbacks in the Third Round.
