Under-20s: Arce earned five caps and made three starts in 2014, logging 284 minutes. He made his USA debut and played the full 90 minutes during the team’s 2-1 victory against Chile on July 14 to open the 2014 National Training Center Invitational, which the USA won the title. 

After suiting up with Club Tijuana’s U-17 and U-20 teams, Arce made his senior team debut during the 2014 Clausura, subbing in the second half of Tijuana’s 2-1 loss to Cruz Azul on March 16. Arce made his Club Tijuana debut in March of 2014.

Arce, the son of longtime Mexico national team midfielder Fernando Arce Sr. (47 caps with Mexico), played for a number of Mexican youth clubs, including Santos Laguna, Morelia and Club Tijuana.
