  • Joined the U.S. youth program at the U-15 level, and was a member of the U-17 Residency Program during the fall 2010 and spring 2011 semesters.
  • Played for various club soccer teams, including Arsenal FC, ISES Strikers, and LAFC Chelsea. Was on the Cosmos Comets West team that merged with the Chivas USA Academy.
  • Was signed by former MLS side Chivas USA as a homegrown player on April 2, 2012.
  • Made his professional debut on October 3, 2012 as a second half sub in a 4-0 loss at Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
  • Appeared in 20 first-team games in 2014, and scored his first professional goal on May 17 in a 1-1 draw at FC Dallas.
  • Was selected by Toronto FC in the dispersal draft after Chivas USA ceased operations following the 2014 season.
  • Delgado is one of nine players on the World Cup roster that were not part of the USA’s 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship team. He appeared in two matches with the U-20 MNT in 2014 and in all three matches since the CONCACAF Championship against England, Qatar, and Croatia.


  • Son of Mirea and Jose, who were both born in Mexico. He has one sister, Ruby, and three brothers, Luis Enrique, Miguel, and Jose Rafael.
