Under-20s: Flores started in three of four games played, logging 278 minutes in 2014. He also assisted an Andrija Novakovich goal during the USA’s thrilling 4-3 victory against the Russia U-21s on Nov. 12 in Marbella, Spain … Under-17s: Flores featured regularly for the U-17 MNT from 2011-13, earning 22 international caps and scoring two goals during that stretch. He earned the spotlight immediately with the U-17s during the 2011 Nike International Friendlies. There, Flores had an assist during a 2-2 draw against France, tallied the game-winning goal for a 2-1 victory against Turkey and added another assist during the USA’s 3-1 win against Brazil to capture the Nike Friendlies championship crown. Flores’ other international goal with the U-17s came during the USA’s 3-1 win against Uruguay on Oct. 21, 2012, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Flores was a member of the 2013 CONCACAF U-17 Championship squad in Panama, playing the full 90 minutes during a 1-0 victory against Guatemala on April 11.

In 2012, Flores agreed to terms with Germany’s Borussia Dortmund, with his professional contract going into effect in March of 2014.

Flores spent a portion of the 2011-12 Development Academy season with McLean Youth Soccer’s U-16 team.
