YNT Mar 10, 2010
The U.S. U-17s trained today on the soccer field inside a dairy factory named Dos Pinos that produces ice cream, milk, yogurts and numerous other milk products. When the full U.S. WNT trained at Dos Pinos six years ago during CONCACAF qualifying for the 2004 Olympics, the workers brought the U.S. players some cold treats from the factory. No such luck for the U-17s today, but the squad still had a solid day-before-game training and the players are now ready to open the qualifying tournament tomorrow against Haiti. As a reminder, the match can be seen live via a video web stream on CONCACAF.com at 6 p.m. ET. Fans can also follow on ussoccer.com's MatchTracker.
