The USA's bus rides took longer than its flights today. It almost took longer to bus from the USA's hotel outside of London to Heathrow Airport than it did to fly from London to Glasgow, just a short 75-minute trip that deposited the U.S. team into Scotland on a sunny afternoon for its 45-minute journey to the hotel. The U.S. team trained for only about an hour this afternoon with the players who started yesterday against England going very light. As it was a short training, the U.S. team eschewed the training ground and just walked across the street to a huge open field with a few soccer pitches. Several players decided to use a towering electrical tower to help with their warm-up (below). Not sure what the game was, but they made one up.
