Against CZ Elite, Haji Wright, Joshua Perez and Joe Gallardo each had a goal and goalkeeper Kevin Silva made two saves for the clean sheet. Against the Sockers, the U.S. U-14’s Rice and Alejandro Zendejas each had two goals and sub Suniel Verrakone also contributed a goal. Andrew Verdi took over the goalkeeping duties and made five saves for the shutout.
Rice had five goals during this four-game span, with the other two coming against Chivas. Perez also had a goal in that match as the U.S. built a 3-0 lead but settled for an eventual draw.
