U.S. Futsal Falls to Argentina in International Friendly

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Aug. 26, 2014) – The U.S. Futsal National Team, competing in its first international competition since the Four Nations Futsal Tournament in June, dropped a 6-0 decision to Argentina at Villa la Nata Sporting Club.

U.S. goalkeeper Danny Waltman came up with 19 saves as Argentina’s offense broke things wide open with four second-half goals.

The USA offense managed to keep Argentina’s defense busy with 27 shots and seven shots on goal, but the U.S. was unable to provide the offensive support for Waltman and head coach Keith Tozer’s side.
