“How refreshing it is to see so many young female athletes not only striving to pursue and accomplish their dreams on the field, but more importantly having a profound impact off the field, being a good person of character and positively impacting all those they meet throughout their young lives,” said former U.S. WNT midfielder and U.S. U-16 Girls’ National Team head coach Kacey White. “These are the true heroes that will surely have a lasting influence in each of their communities and the people they meet along the way.”
A SheBelieves HeroTM is a leader in their community, a confident and passionate individual who empowers others around her and is working to make a difference.
“I had such a great time watching these videos and was truly inspired,” said former U.S. WNT goalkeeper Nicole Barnhart. “There were many great entries, and it was a very tough decision. Congrats to all the entrants. Thank you for all you do to make our communities better. Keep working hard to accomplish your goals, and dream big in all you do!”
