U.S. Soccer Confirms Dates for Next A-Youth and B Coaching Courses

CHICAGO (Mar. 26, 2018) — The dates and locations for the next series of U.S. Soccer A-Youth and B coaching education courses have been confirmed. All courses will be held in Kansas City, Kan. at the newly finished, state-of-the art National Development Center (NDC), which is designed to maximize the development of coaches at all levels.

U.S. Soccer will host two A-Youth and three B courses at the NDC beginning in July and running through the end of the year. The application window for these courses will be from April 2-15. Interested applicants should review the course details and pre-application checklist below. All applications must be submitted through the Digital Coaching Center (DCC).

As higher-level education opportunities, the A-Youth and B courses span three to six months at a time and take place over a series of face-to-face meetings. Candidates will have an opportunity to practically apply what they learn in their home environment with their own teams between meetings. U.S. Soccer staff will travel to assess candidates in their home environment for the A-Youth courses, while regional assessment centers will be organized for B course candidates.

Participants at U.S. Soccer’s National Coaching Schools will have the opportunity to earn a nationally recognized license from U.S. Soccer, a FIFA national association member, and the governing body of soccer in the United States in all its forms.
