Sebastian Lletget Departs MNT Camp Due to Injury

CHICAGO (September 6, 2018) – The roster for the U.S. Men’s National Team’s Kickoff Series matches against Brazil and Mexico was reduced to 24 players on Thursday as Sebastian Lletget departed camp due to a lingering abdominal strain suffered with the Los Angeles Galaxy. No replacement will be made for the 25-year-old midfielder.

The MNT opens the Kickoff Series on Friday, Sept. 7 with USA-Brazil, presented by Liberty Mutual Insurance. Coverage of the match begins at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1, Univision and UDN. Four days later, the next edition of the one of region’s greatest rivalries will be contested at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. USA-Mexico, presented by AT&T, begins at 7:30 p.m. CT, with ESPN and Univision broadcasting the action.
