CHICAGO (Jan 23, 2019)—The U.S. Beach Soccer National Team will gather for its first training camp of 2019 in Huntington Beach, Calif. from Jan. 24-27. The camp kicks off an important year for the Beach NT, as it will aim to qualify for the 2019 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup with a top-two finish at the 2019 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship. The USA is seeking its first qualification to the biennial World Cup since 2013.
U.S. Beach NT head coach Eddie Soto has called 16 players to the Beach NT for its year-opening camp.
