U-18 MNT Falls to Iceland 2-0 in Second Game of Open Nordic Cup

SUNNE, Sweden (Aug. 5, 2015) – The U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team put in a pair of own goals to fall 2-0 to Iceland in the second game of the Open Nordic Cup.

 Each of the two goals came from MNT clearances that were mistakenly hit into the back of the net.

 The loss comes just a day after the U-18’s 2-0 win against Faroe Islands. The team will be back on the field on Aug. 7 for the final group matchup against host Sweden.
