Alejandro Bedoya Has Replaced Benny Feilhaber on U.S. Roster for 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup
Feilhaber Sidelined with Ankle Injury; U.S. Roster Now Officially Finalized in Advance of June 7 Opener against Canada

Bedoya earned all eight of his caps for the United States in 2010, and was named to the 30-man preliminary roster for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Bedoya has been training with the team since May 30, and appeared in the loss to FIFA World Cup champion Spain on June 4 in Foxborough, Mass.
In the quest for their fifth Gold Cup title, the U.S. has been drawn into Group C along with Canada, Panama and Guadeloupe. Following the match against Canada, the team then travels south to face Panama on June 11 at 8 p.m. ET at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla., before rounding out group play against Guadeloupe on June 14 at the brand new LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in Kansas City, with kickoff slated for 8 p.m. CT. The U.S. will be attempting to earn its fifth confederation championship title.
