U.S. U-17 MNT to Participate in Doubleheader with Men's National Team at Raymond James Stadium

The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team will play Mexico at Raymond James Stadium on Feb. 24 as part of a doubleheader that will feature the U.S. Men’s National Team against El Salvador. The U-17 match kicks off at 4:15 p.m. ET and fans can follow the game live on ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker.

CHICAGO (Feb. 5, 2010) -- The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team will play Mexico at Raymond James Stadium on Feb. 24 as part of a doubleheader that will feature the U.S. Men’s National Team against El Salvador. The U-17 match kicks off at 4:15 p.m. ET and fans can follow the game live on ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker.

Fans with tickets to the USA versus El Salvador will also have access to the U-17 match up, with gates opening at 4 p.m. ET.

The U.S. U-17 MNT, led by head coach Wilmer Cabrera, is in the early stages of preparation for the 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship and 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup. The international match will be the fourth for the new cycle of players, born in 1994 and 1995, and the first since the Nike International Friendlies during the Development Academy Winter Showcase in Phoenix in early December.

The U-17 MNT trains daily at U.S. Soccer’s Residency Program, located just south of Tampa in Bradenton, Fla.
