U.S. MNT Wins, 1-0, Against South Africa in Johannesburg to Close Out 2007

The U.S. Men's National Team earned a 1-0 victory on Saturday afternoon at Ellis Park in Johannesburg, South Africa, behind a first-half goal from defender Steve Cherundolo. The victory for the U.S. was their first-ever on the African continent (in three all-time matches) and improved the team's record in 2007 to 12-5-1.
