Known for his fearless attacking spirit, Agudelo established a role in the U.S. Men’s National Team in 2011, making a career-high 14 appearances. The young forward continues to add to polish to impressive raw talent and is expected to be a big part of the USA’s efforts to qualify and compete in the 2012 Olympic Games. The striker was the first product of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy to make an appearance for the U.S. Men’s National Team, scoring in his debut when the U.S. defeated South Africa 1-0 to win the 2010 Nelson Mandela Challenge in Cape Town, South Africa. With the goal, the New York Red Bulls Academy alum became the youngest U.S. player to score in the modern era.
