Perhaps no other U.S. player improved his standing so much in 2010 as Bedoya, going from a rookie in January camp to making the 30-man preliminary roster for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. A speedy winger with good technique and a great shot from distance, Bedoya has completed two seasons in Sweden after twice being named a finalist for the MAC Hermann trophy award as the nation’s top collegiate player in 2009.
