Fleet of foot and quick with the ball at his feet, the diminutive Edgar Castillo has the ability to disrupt defenses. After appearances with both the Mexican National Team in friendlies and the U-23 team in Olympic qualifying, Castillo applied to change associations and was declared eligible to play for the United States, the country of his birth. Deployed as both a left-sided defender and a midfielder for his clubs, he has spent his entire professional career in the Primera División in Mexico.
