Holding both German and U.S. citizenship, Timmy Chandler was eligible to represent either nation at the international level and chose the United States. Speedy and adventurous, he has demonstrated versatility by occupying the flank defender role on either the right or left side. Age-eligible for the 2012 Olympic Games, Chandler has become a regular starter at Nürnberg in the German Bundesliga.
