2010 FIFA World Cup Qualifying - Final Round
Twelve teams are contesting the Final Round of North, Central America and Caribbean qualifying in the final hexagonal stage, from where three sides will qualify directly for South Africa 2010 and the fourth-placed team will take on the fifth-placed finisher in South American qualifying for a place at the world finals.
2009 FIFA Under-17 World Cup
The FIFA Under-17 World Cup has been contested every two years since 1985, and this year the U.S. continued its streak as the only nation to qualify for every event. The U.S. team has finished in the top five in three of the last five events including fourth place in 1999. In 2009, Nigeria hosts 24 teams from Oct. 24 to Nov. 15.
