Any amateur sports organization or person wishing to host a match or tournament involving one or more foreign teams, or travel for an international youth match or tournament, must receive permission from their U.S. Soccer-affiliated organization first and then subsequently from U.S. Soccer. Organizations affiliated with U.S. Soccer include US Youth Soccer and its charter state associations, US Club Soccer, and AYSO. Additional members can be found here.
You should first contact your U.S. Soccer-affiliated organization to find out their requirements. Once you have received approval from your U.S. Soccer-affiliated organization, you can then Apply to Host an International Youth Match or Tournament, or Apply for Foreign Travel. To ensure your application is reviewed and approved on time, it is recommended that the documentation be received by U.S. Soccer no later than thirty (30) days prior to the first scheduled match.
