U.S. U-16 and U-15 GNTs Open Thanksgiving Interregional  

CHICAGO, Ill. (November 20, 2006) - The U.S. Under-15 and Under-16 Girl’s National Teams will play three matches each against Regional ODP teams at the 2006 U.S. Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program Thanksgiving Interregional, starting Monday, Nov. 20, in Coral Springs, Florida.

Both teams will play matches on Monday, Nov. 20, Wednesday, Nov 22, and Friday, Nov 24.

It will be the last action of the year for both teams. Both the U-15s and U-16s will be playing Regional Teams one year older in age group. U.S. head coaches Tad Bobak (U-15s) and Kazbek Tambi (U-16s) have each brought 18 players to the competition, almost all of whom also participated with their respective youth national team squads at the inaugural 2006 Women’s Nike Friendlies at the end of September.
