Bradley Calls 29 Players to Begin Training Camp on Jan. 4 at The Home Depot Center
CHICAGO (Dec. 22, 2006) - Chicago Fire goalkeeper Matt Pickens has been called by U.S. National Team head coach Bob Bradley to replace Brad Guzan in the USA's January training camp in Carson, Calif. Guzan is being treated for back ailments following a week-long trip to England with an MLS select team. The 24-year-old Pickens stood in goal as the Fire collected their fourth U.S. Open Cup title earlier this year, downing the Los Angeles Galaxy, 3-1, on Sept. 27 at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill.
