U-17 '90 MNT Draw 2-2 With USF

TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 18, 2007) - The U.S. Under-17 '90 Men's National Team drew 2-2 with the University of South Florida this afternoon in Tampa, Fla.

Kirk Urso led the way for the U.S. with a goal and an assist, both of set pieces.

The U-17s took the lead twice, but both times let USF pull even. Urso put the U.S. up in the 10th minute when he placed a perfectly struck free kick over the wall and into the upper right corner of the goal.

Ogi Perucica scored the equalizer for USF when he was fed a through ball and finished past Larry Jackson in the 41st minute.

Jesse Paredes gave the U.S. the lead back 11 minutes later when he buried home Urso's free kick from outside the box.

Perucica struck again for the Bulls in the 70th minute when he finished off a pass played into the penalty area.
