Rodney Replaces Bowen for Copa Chivas Tournament

U.S. U-20 MNT Head Coach Thomas Rongen Featured in "Starting XI"
CHICAGO (Jan. 24, 2008) -- Ahkeel Rodney will replace an injured Tristen Bowen for the Under-20 Men's National Team trip to Guadalajara, Mexico for the Copa Chivas Tournament.  Bowen was injured during training camp in Bradenton, Fla.

The U.S. leaves for Mexico today, Jan. 24, and will play five games in the first round. The U.S. will kick off the tournament against America on Saturday, Jan. 26. The following matches in group play will be against Tecos (Jan. 27), Locomotiv de Moscu (Jan. 28), Estudiantes de la Plata (Jan. 29) and Santos (Jan. 30). If the U.S. advances they could move on to the quarterfinals (Jan. 31), semifinals (Feb. 1) or even the final (Feb. 2).
